Visiting Lucban, Quezon

The Philippines has many interesting places to explore. Let me share with you our experience in visiting some of them......

Relaxing Weekend in Lucban, Quezon

Last June, my family had a wonderful stay in Lucban. It's a 3 1/2 hour land travel from Manila passing through many scenic spots of Laguna and Batangas or Rizal. Lucban is known for the "Pahiyas Festival" celebrated every 15th of May in honor of San Isidro Labrador, Patron Saint of farmers. Some of the famous products in the area are the "Pansit and Longganisang Lucban", we tried and liked the flavorful meat sausages of longganisa and unique taste of pansit hab-hab with vinegar sauce.

Lucban is a quite town, a nice place for unwinding not too far from Manila. One of the recommended resort/hotel here is the Piknikan sa Batis Aramin Resort where you can go camping, swimming, boating or just relax and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. It is situated at the foot of the majestic Mt. Banahaw, a short walk away from Kamay ni Hesus Healing Center and Villa Dolorosa Grotto - home of Fr. Joey Faller (the healing priest).

It's a great adventure visiting Lucban and definitely we will be back for a more memorable Family Trip Experience.

Come and join us!!!
Let's explore the beautiful places of the Philippines !!!!!
